Club Rules

  • mar2011_1406cropNo smoking and no outside alcohol is permitted in the club.
  • The club is not responsible for lost property of members or guests, nor for any damages or injury sustained by them in or about the club premises.
  • Guest fees are $5 per guest.  Envelopes are provided for payment just above the suggestion box outside the men’s change room.  A member must accompany guests.  The same guest is only permitted to use the club a reasonable number of times (3 or 4), the intent being to introduce potential members to the club.
  • Members are responsible for their GRC entry card.  Any lost or stolen cards should be immediately reported to a board member.  Replacement cards are $10 each.
  • The front entrance door must be shut within 15 seconds or the alarm will sound.  The alarm will also sound if either side door is opened – they are considered emergency exits only.
  • Courts can be booked up to one week in advance.  Please be considerate and call the club to cancel court times.
  • The club supplies soap and shampoo.  Towels are not provided.
  • Only shoes with non-marking soles are to be worn on the courts.
  • Eye protection is strongly recommended for all players and mandatory for anyone under 19.
  • Please turn all lights off, except lounge and front entrance, when leaving the club.
  • Lockers can be rented at $20/year.
  • As a volunteer, non-profit organization with no hired staff, you are equally responsible with your fellow members in following and seeing that others follow the club rules.  Thanks for your support!
