Club News: October 3, 2019
With the start of the 2019/2020 season, here are a couple EXCITING events coming up at GRC.
On October 18th & 19th Mike Joseph will be holding his 3rd 24 hour squash marathon. Mike will begin playing squash at 6 pm on Friday and will play right through the night until 6 pm on Saturday. There are 48 thirty minute time slots available. Mike plans to raise $1 per minute he plays, totalling $1,440, with all proceeds going to The Heart and Stoke Foundation. There are still a number of sports available, so sign up quickly to support a great cause (and maybe a few pointers?). The sign up is posted along the outside wall of the court one gallery.
The final game played of Mike’s 24 hours will mark the start of our 2019 SEASON OPENER!!
The Season Opener will be held Saturday October 19th starting at 5:30 pm. Entrance is free and open to all friends and family!
There is going to be plenty of awesome squash, food, drinks and fun for all! Furnace Room Brewery will be onsite doing samples.
